Can’t follow the parenting plan?

Follow Us

When a couple divorces in California and has children, they are required to have a parenting plan.  If the couple cannot agree on one, they are required by law to attend at least one session of custody mediation.  If they still cannot work things out, they will have to go to court and let a judge determine the final plan.  When the parents work together, the outcome is better for all.

What happens when one of the parents can no longer follow the original parenting plan because of a change in his or her job schedule or something else?

It is wise to contact an experienced Riverside Family Law attorney who has success in parenting plan modifications – one who will work to achieve your goals.
