It is wise when going through a divorce to keep your divorce and your parenting completely separate from each other.

Follow these tips to keep your divorce process away from your children:

·     Do not speak negatively to your children about your former spouse

·     Never argue with your former spouse in front of the children

·     Be on time for your visits with your children

·     Do not make your children carry messages to and from your former spouse

·     Don’t ask them to spy for you

·     Don’t prevent your children from seeing their other parent

·     Schedule meaningful activities with them
