Order of protection

Are you going through a divorce where your spouse is threatening or abusing you?  If this is the case, you need to request an order of protection.  An order of protection is a court order which prohibits certain behaviors such as abuse, assault, stalking or reckless endangerment (to name a few) of your spouse against you.

In the case of domestic violence, a family court judge will issue an order of protection against your spouse, a person whom you had a child with, a family member related to you by blood or marriage, or someone with whom you have had an intimate relationship.

If you feel that you and/or your children are in danger, contact an experienced Riverside Family attorney to discuss your situation. Your attorney will immediately obtain an order of protection to ensure the safety and well-being of you and your children.
